From Virginia's Desk
Dear Tax Clients,
We are proud to announce our tax department is growing and as a result, we have officially partnered with Safe Harbor Tax Advisory, LLC. Therefore, I will no longer be personally preparing tax returns which will allow me to take on a supervisory role in the new partnership. Gail Prewett has been part of the Safe Harbor team for the last 3 years. She has over 20 years of experience preparing and filing tax returns and carries the IRS Enrolled Agent certification. She will be handling the preparation and filing of all tax returns going forward for our valued clients.
By making this move with Safe Harbor, it will allow our clients more options to make the business of financial planning and tax planning flow together. Our goal is to provide clients with a full financial and tax planning experience. We believe this partnership will further that experience as we pride ourselves on taking a proactive role in this and believe you can’t have one without the other.
We have also added a new team member, Karen Young, to our team. Karen is responsible for our bookkeeping clients as well as assisting in tax preparation and scheduling. Karen comes to us with numerous years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She will be assisting the team in monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for our small-business clients. We are excited to bring her expertise to the Safe Harbor family.
In order to accommodate everyone’s comfort level, we are offering both drop-off and in-person tax appointments. If you prefer to drop off your tax documents, you will receive a call when your tax return is ready to be picked up. At that time, you will be offered the opportunity to come in and discuss or to have it sent to you via secured e-mail. Otherwise, feel free to call the office to schedule your in-person tax appointment.
We appreciate your trust in us and as always, we look forward to serving your tax and financial needs.
