Virginia Shelby, Certified Public Accountant/Certified Tax Planner
Virginia Shelby was born and raised in Escambia County Florida and graduated from the University of West Florida. She then moved to Atlanta, GA where she attended Kennesaw University and received her qualifications to become a CPA. Virginia worked for a CPA in the metro Atlanta area and also worked with a tax attorney in the North GA Mountains where she became proficient in tax resolution. She has almost 20 years of experience in tax return preparation.
As a Certified Public Accountant and one of 200 Certified Tax Coaches across the US. Virginia works with Safe Harbor Advisors’ clients in the area of tax planning to achieve the lowest legal tax liability possible. Virginia believes proper tax planning, as opposed to just tax preparation, can save clients thousands of dollars in tax by simply taking advantage of all the legal deductions and timing to maximize their tax savings.
The IRS admits that taxpayers overpay their taxes by as much as $8 billion dollars each year because they do not understand the deduction and “legal loopholes” available to them.
